The SVP is a New Generation of the Sectional Belt Vulcanizing Press. A milestone in design evolution the SVP is rugged, yet very portable and easily maintained. Most suitable for field applications in both rubber ply belting and steelcord, this Sectional Model is available in innumerable sizes to meet a variety of job requirements. SVP featuring the followng benefits :
- Integral cooling standard on all units
- Corrosion resistant recessed electrical connections
- Total weights include electrical control panel, cable sets and set-up templates
- Temperature adjustable between 200 - 350 º F (93 - 176 ºC)
- Sectional vulcanizers are built on a 22º bias
- Custom sizes, rectangular configurations and multiple platen arrangements are also available on request.
High tensile steel bolt and nut assemblies are recessed in the bar allowing lower profile. SVP platens and E bars are interchangeable with KD, LKD and LHKD arrangements. SVP platens can be used with all bars. Because of its modular capabilities even the largest machine can be knocked down into portable components. Each section is designed from the latest high strength, yet lightweight materials. Various belt widths or splice lengths can be accommodated with combinations of multiple platens and traverse bars, yet each component remains portable.

The new UNIPRESS represents the most significant developments in vulcanizer technology. Every component has been engineered to be as light and safe as possible. With platens arranged in a rectangular fashion the UniPress becomes ideally suited for finger splices or steel cable splices. The Almex Frame Series of vulcanizers were developed from a need in the material handling industry, to reduce belt splicing cycle times, and thereby reduce conveyor downtime. Working in partnership with the industry, we developed the unique two-piece construction found on all Almex Frame Presses.
With the two-piece construction, the assembly and disassembly time of the vulcanizer is greatly reduced. The Frame press can be carried or hoisted into the splice location and in a matter of minutes, the press is ready and the splice can begin. The result is a tremendous saving in time and money.

SOLO XPRESS
Solo Express is the ONE-MAN operate vulcanizing press. It is designed to let one person carry the new lightweight Solo to the splice location, cure and cool the splice faster than ever before!
QUICK RESPONSE
In today’s competitive splicing market, a fast belt splice resulting in less down-time is critical. Trained personnel are few and expensive. The Solo allows the best use of your time and personnel. You can respond quickly to splicing and repair situations for both 2 and 3 ply belts.
VERSATILITY
Utilizing 230 volt, single phase the Solo heats up and cools down faster than other rubber vulcanizing presses. Heat-up time from room temperature to 300ºF (149ºC) is just 7 minutes, with a 3 minute cool down. The Solo’s versatility comes through with its ability to be placed side by side to accommodate longer splice lengths in one cure.

The ALMEX Superspotter vulcanizer, designed for spot repair, is the most lightweight, portable repair vulcanizer offered by Shaw-Almex. The SSP model is a `one-man’ repair press, allowing one person to carry the press to the repair location, assemble the vulcanizer, and execute the repair.
