GLASS FLAKE LINING
COROFLAKE coating series Spray or roller applied COROFLAKE series combine the chemical resistance of heavy duty linings with the simplicity of spray applied, thin film coatings. Based on polyester, vinyl ester, epoxy, and epoxy novolac resins, this series is reinforced with laminar graphite, micro mica or glass flakes which form more than one hundred layers per mm within the coating film. COROFLAKE coatings were developed to provide a two or three coat, 1.0 to 1.5 mm protective systems which have outstanding chemical resistance at economical rates. They are resistant to constant immersion temperatures up to 70°C and to chemical fume conditions at temperatures up to 240°C.
Coroflake is used mainly in coating FGD system, fume ducting, scrubber, storage tanks and other applications which requred durable lining.
