When splicing conveyor belt, it is important to block the belt from stored energy. The use of proper engineered belt clamp is important to ensure the belt is properly secured with calculated clamping force. Use extra clamps to secure the belt at counterweight location, near the head and tail end is always recommended to ensure optimum safety during performing belt splicing & repair, and during idler change-out.
SureGrip is the easy-to-use, lightweight and sturdy belt clamps. With a load capacity up to 3.5 ton per clamp (total clamp force on belt = 7 tons), it securely grips belts up 25mm thick.
